Zonnebloem Boys Primary School
Welcome to Zonnebloem Boys Primary School ZBPS is a place to grow, where we take pride in creating a nurturing environment where our children are inspired to become life-long learners, valued members of the community and our future leaders.
ZBPS dates back to 1858 when the school was established on the slopes of devils’ peak by the Governor of the Cape Colony, Sir George Grey and Dr Robert Gray the first Anglican Bishop of Cape Town. Zonnebloem is situated in what was then known as District Six.
We aim to develop the individual and collective needs of the learner holistically by incorporating and delivering a high standard of academic excellence, sport and co-curricular activities. This ethos of excellence will incorporate professionals (teachers), learners, parents, NGO’s (Shine centre) and the broader community.
